Fantastic restaurant & bar. Great food & service . Some nights there is live music & dancing too.
This is a nice little pub. I remember it from years ago. It has been modernised which I feel has taken away a bit of the atmosphere that it had. It used to be a separate bar and lounge but has been opened up into one huge area which has filled the atmosphere.It is however a nice pub for a drink and the staff and locals are very friendly and welcoming. It's well worth popping into for a visit.
Food usually good here. But we had to wait 45 minutes for mains. Portions were a bit small too. Told table had to be free by 7, which wasn't a problem but when we asked about ordering dessert were told we didn't have enough time! Perhaps if we hadn't had to wait 45 minutes we would of had plenty of time. Restaurant wasn't even busy and other customers mentioned waiting a long time too. We were also overcharged for a round of drinks too,, but got refunded.
Nice for food. Terrible for a night out.. full of underage children throwing drink all over the floor, vomit on the stairs etc. Bouncers pushing and throwing people around, absolutely hectic!
Wish I hadn't had a starter. The main would have been ample. Very generous portions. Delicious. Lovely staff too. Reasonable prices and quick service.
