I had a really disappointing stay at Pinewood Lodge during Christmas of last year. The hosts made myself and my extended family feel extremely bad about returning one evening (around 11pm) during the Christmas period after a family party. We weren't being noisy - we were simply going upstairs to our rooms. They also failed to tell us until Christmas Eve (when they demanded payment) that the card machine was broken, and then told my disabled father who is unsteady on his feet to "walk to the nearest cash point" which was a couple of miles down the road (we didn't have a car and were relying on taxis, which they knew). They would not take payment any later than Christmas Eve, which was confusing as when we booked it they stated we could make the payment on check out (which for us wasn't until Boxing Day). I strongly urge you not to book this property as the service and nature of the hosts is appalling.
1GENUINE REVIEW AS WE JUST STAYED THEREThis place is a dirty old Shythole. We was given a room that was very dirty and smelly. I found a number of spiders in the room including the bed covers there was also a number of insects flying about .The owners also tried to get us to pay twice (con artists) Please take my advice as Im based in Kent . All I can say regarding these other reviews is they must be fake or there guest have got very low standards.
Lovely place just outside Omagh.in perfect location to explore the north.
People running this place ale usually about the house till late. Really friendly atmosphere and cheap
